Legal
Effective July 26, 2026. This policy explains what personal data GoGoLink collects when you shorten links, build Page Builder pages, or view analytics, and how we use, share, and protect it. GoGoLink is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy and processes it in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We collect personal data in three ways: what you give us directly, what we gather automatically as you use the service, and what we receive from third parties like payment processors.
We use the information above to operate and improve GoGoLink: redirecting your short links, rendering your Page Builder pages, generating analytics, processing payments, sending account and billing notifications, and detecting abuse or fraud. Under the GDPR, we only process your personal data where we have a lawful basis to do so:
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences; these are necessary to provide the service and don't require consent. Any non-essential cookies or similar technologies are only set with your prior consent, which you can withdraw at any time. When someone clicks one of your short links, we log the click to power your analytics — this does not use invasive tracking cookies on the visitor's device.
We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf to help us run GoGoLink — such as hosting, email delivery, and payment processing — under data processing agreements that meet the requirements of Article 28 GDPR and limit how they can use it. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of GoGoLink and our users.
We store and process your data primarily within the EU/EEA. Where a service provider processes personal data outside the EU/EEA, we ensure an adequate level of protection — for example through an adequacy decision of the European Commission or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, supplemented by additional safeguards where necessary. You can contact us for more information about the safeguards in place.
In line with the GDPR's storage-limitation principle, we keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes it was collected for. Account and link data is retained while your account is active. If you delete a link, Page Builder page, or your account, we erase or anonymise the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it longer to comply with legal obligations — such as tax and accounting rules — or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding your personal data. You can exercise most of them directly from your workspace settings, or contact us and we'll handle it for you, free of charge and normally within one month.
If you believe our processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in particular your local data protection authority in the EU member state where you live, work, or where the alleged infringement took place. We'd appreciate the chance to address your concerns first, so please consider contacting us before doing so.
GoGoLink is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your data, taking into account the nature of the data and the risks of processing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through the app before they take effect.
